The 4 hour classroom portion of the License to Carry training is available as an Online Course. Take the class anytime and anywhere on any device with internet. No more sitting in classrooms all day with people you don’t know. After online class, you can schedule the shooting portion with us in Houston or a LTC Instructor near you!!
What The Class Will Cover
The LTC class covers everything you’ll need to be able to confidently and legally carry a handgun in Texas. The classroom portion consist of 4 modules:
- Use of Force
- Non-Violent Dispute Resolution
- Handgun Use & Safety
- Safe & Proper Storage of Handguns and Ammunition
In Person LTC Class

Range Fee Not Included in class fee
Texas Soul also offers In Person License To Carry (LTC) classes by Texas DPS certified instructors. The class is a 4-6 hour course as mandated by the state and is the exact same content as the online course.
Following completion of the class, each student will take a 25 question test. Upon passing, we will then complete the 50 round Shooting Proficiency Test at a nearby gun range. Each successful student will then receive their LTC 100 certificate, which completes LTC training. For class dates/times, give us a call.
